WALA invites one and all to our Happy Hour Networking event!

Please join us for spirited fellowship on the town in the historic U Street Corridor for an exquisite Happy Hour gathering in CHICKEN + WHISKEY’s speakeasy setting.

CHICKEN + WHISKEY is an authentic South American joint specializing in Peruvian rotisserie chicken and Venezuelan sandwiches, salads, and sides. Venezuelan culinary star, Enrique Limardo delivers deliciously flavorful food good, fast, and cheap…and there’s a kick-ass whiskey bar in the back.

Chef Enrique Limardo has been voted Best Chef Baltimore 2016, received 3.5 out of 4 stars from the Washington Post’s Tom Sietsema, and has been inducted into the La Confrérie de la Chaîne des Tôtisseurs (International Gastronomic Society founded in Paris in 1950). He has appeared on the Food Networks Beat Bobby Flay, and Chopped.

There will be ample information, with WALA staff and Volunteers on hand to discuss the important Legal and Education Services WALA has been providing to all sectors of the DC, Maryland, and Virginia based Arts Community since 1983!
