April 7, 2022  •

Event Summary

Thinking about starting a non-profit corporation?

This workshop serves as a basic guide!

This course is crafted for both new entrants and seasoned veterans of the tax-exempt organization scene.

Our presenter will begin with substantive information on how to form a 501(c)(3) organization, including drafting valid tax-exempt purpose statements, creating initial rule structures, options for filing 1023 applications, and fundraising methods available to new organizations.

The course will then cover governance policies and structures that existing organizations can use to maintain compliance with local, state, and federal laws. Whether you’re new to Roberts Rules or a seasoned hand at 990s, this course will provide information to help your team make a greater impact inside of the law.
