Join us for a discussion on the nuts & bolts of starting your own music publishing company with HARDEEP GROVER from Tresquire Legal Services. The conversation will start with an explanation of the various copyrights and ownership rights held by different participants in the music creation process followed by an explanation on how to best secure and utilize rights & income from public performance royalties. This session will cover topics like: how to choose the right business entity, what standard royalty rates are, how to register with the various PROs, and things to look for in a music publishing contract from the perspective of both musician and publisher.
